As we are a traveling eco-craft studio, our schedule is predetermined by location and available daylight, so hours will vary.  Please visit the Upcoming Classes or Upcoming Events links at the top of this page or contact us about scheduling a session at an inspiring location near you (private gatherings also available).

The Magpie's Forest is a fledgling pop-up traveling eco-craft studio, with a primary focus on providing artists in the South Florida area optimal outdoor communal creativity spaces which are:

1) safe, 2) beautiful, 3) convenient

Please share your suggestions! We look for spaces with an abundance of natural beauty and peace. Whenever possible we book space through 501c3 charitable organizations or public park spaces because we believe in funding organizations and initiatives in our community which support wellness, nature and wildlife. If there is a location that interests you, let us know and we will do our best to make arrangements with the property owner.

Our traveling studio serves artists of all skill levels and multiple interests, the only requirement is a love of nature and being outdoors. We get messy, we get hot, we even dance in the rain. Sometimes dirt gets in your painting, and that's ok, it's all part of the process and the process is what it's all about.

The registration fee includes paint, brushes, canvas and a rinse cup, all of which are yours to take with you when you leave, to be used again and again. If you would also like to bring your own personal supplies from home, or a work in progress, you are welcome to do so.

Not yet but as we grow (and we do appreciate you spreading the word!) we encourage interested artists to register early regardless, as availability can change quickly during periods of especially high demand. But right now, no we don't have a waiting list. (Seriously, spread the word...)

Yes, all selected class locations have convenient nearby restroom access.
